‘Blackburn Chicken’ Returns, Evades Security Guard During English Championship Game (Video)

You’ve heard of a game of cat and mouse, right? Well, what about chicken and security guard?

A chicken got on the field at Ewood Park during a Championship (English second division) game between Blackburn and Burnley on Sunday. This is the second time this has happened, according to Yahoo! Sports. The first came last season when fans released a chicken to protest Blackburn’s owners, Venkateshwara Hatcheries Group, an Indian poultry company.

The chicken showed off some impressive moves in evading the security guard. At one point, the guard seemed to have the chicken cornered, but it took to the air to escape once more. In all it took nearly a minute to get the chicken off the field. At least no one got bit, like Loris Benito did last week when a marten found it’s way onto the pitch in Switzerland.

Now, we’re no chicken-catching experts, but it didn’t seem like those security guards were putting 100-percent effort into catching the chicken. Decide for yourself in the video below.
