Monday was not a banner day for Team China. In the midst a 12-0 steamrolling at the hands of Cuba in the first round of the World Baseball Classic, China first baseman Fujia Chu secured his spot on the nightly highlight reels — and not in a good way.
With one out in the top of the second, Chu stole second base on a dropped ball by the catcher. But upon reaching the base, he inexplicably turned around and began jogging back to first, trapping himself in a short rundown before he was eventually tagged out.
