The Bruins have not seen much production from their third line this season, but a new-look version of that line found its way onto the scoresheet Sunday afternoon.
Leading the Flyers 1-0 in the first period, winger Jordan Caron tallied his first point of the season in his first game since being promoted from Providence. Caron initially couldn’t handle a pass from Rich Peverley near the left faceoff dot, but the 22-year-old corralled the rebound off the boards, settling the puck and setting up Chris Kelly in front of the net for Boston’s second goal of the day.
