The Bruins knew it was coming all year. After a slower schedule compared to the rest of the league through January and February, the B’s won’t have two off days in a row until March 28 and 29.
Boston will play 17 games in March with 15 of those games coming in the first 27 days of the month. Because of the tough schedule, the Bruins are trying not to get ahead of themselves. Claude Julien has stressed a “one game at a time” approach and it seems the players are buying in.
Rookie Dougie Hamilton compared the month to a playoff schedule, but he isn’t complaining. Hamilton said the players like it because it means less practicing and more playing.
