FOX Announces ‘FOX Sports 1’ Cable Channel to Debut in August, With Shows Hosted by Terry Bradshaw, Regis Philbin

FS1FOX Sports is one of the most pronounced national sports industries around the nation. Now, the company is adding another dimension which will even feature daily shows hosted by Regis Philbin and Terry Bradshaw.

The network announced its Fox Sports 1 cable channel on Tuesday, calling it the largest sports cable launch in history.  According to the company, FS1 will be availible in 90 million homes and is set to make its debut on Aug. 17.

In the near future, specifically 2014, FSMG’s agreement with the MLB will take full effect, showing regular season as well as playoff baseball on FS1. The channel will also broadcast UFC, college football, soccer and college basketball.
