High School Kicker Jonathan Semerene Bashes 70-Yard Field Goal in Practice (Video)

Plenty of soccer players have been known to place-kick a field goal or two, but what Jonathan Semerene of Cypress Bay High School can do with a football is truly Beckham-esque.

Semerene showed a flair for bending it like Beckham in a video he filmed with Brandon Kornblue, his kicking mentor. The really awesome part? Semerene looped the kick in from 70 yards out, which would break records at every level if his magic leg gets called upon in a game. (Semerene, as far as we know, is not a soccer player. We just wanted to talk about David Beckham.)

Kicking in sunny practice is a lot different than staring down the goalposts in a game, but the kick is still pretty impressive. Check it out in the video below.
