Jackie Bradley Jr. Trying to Be Patient, Impatient at Same Time on Journey to Big Leagues (Video)

Jackie Bradley Jr. wasn’t expected to really arrive on the scene in Fenway until 2014 at the earliest. However, after a 10-for-20 start in the Grapefruit League, the 22-year-old outfielder is pushing the issue here in the present.

When Bradley says he wants to be both patient and impatient regarding his arrival with Boston, what that means is he knows his time will come if he continues to play well and trusts in his abilities. But it also means the onus is on him to play the kind of baseball that’s going to force the hand of Sox management — and he may very well be doing that this spring.

Check out the video above for Bradley’s chat with Jenny Dell about his hot spring and major league ambitions.
