Jeff Green’s Breakout Game Should Give Celtics Confidence in Any Future Showdowns Against Heat (Podcast)

With no Kevin Garnett, or Rajon Rondo, the Celtics still gave LeBron James and the Miami Heat just about all they could handle on Monday night.

A big reason for that was, of course, Jeff Green.

Green’s 43-point night wasn’t enough to snap Miami’s now 23-game win streak, but it should be more than enough to convince Boston that it has the right stuff to make some noise against the Heat should the two teams meet again with the stakes a little higher.

NESN.com’s Ben Watanabe joined Dan Duquette on the podcast Tuesday to break down Green’s night and what it means for the Celtics’ future. The two also discussed when the Heat will lose again, lamented the loss of the Big East Tournament and much more.
