JetBlue Park has been everything the Red Sox could ask for and much more.
Just over a year old, the park is making noise on a national level as it was recently nominated for the Sports Facility of the Year award by the Sports Business Journal.
The $77.8 million Fenway South complex was designed by Populous and constructed by Manhattan Kraft Construction, Inc.
Other facilities up for the award include TCU’s Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, the Nets’ Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Marlins Park in Miami and UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
The winner will be announced on May 22 at an event in New York.
Check out Tom Caron‘s tour of the complex last March in the video below.
