Give Kaspars Daugavins credit: he was going for it on Monday night.
In the shootout against the Bruins, Daugavins attempted an unbelievable highlight-reel trick shot for the Senators’ fourth-round effort. Unfortunately for him, Tuukka Rask appeared ready for it and was able to make a spectacular save of his own to keep the puck out of the net. Maybe it’s because Daugavins used the same move in the AHL some time ago.
