Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce Continue to Play Large Roles in Celtics’ Move Up in Playoff Standings (Audio)

Kevin Garnett, Paul PierceIt wasn’t that long ago that rumors were swirling about drastically changing the Boston Celtics roster to make a playoff run, but after no blockbuster trades were made, the C’s find themselves sitting pretty in the standings and working with what they have.

Only 3 1/2 games back of the New York Knicks in the division standings, the Celtics can almost look back to earlier in the season, when their chances of even making the playoffs looked slim, and laugh. The Celts have found some chemistry in the second half of the season and there is no doubt that the leadership of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce has helped lead this team’s turnaround.
