What is with the Los Angeles Lakers and towels?
Back in 2010 we brought you the bizarre story of a company owned by Lakers fans manufacturing “Beat LA” towels. Then, just back in January, we brought you the somewhat gross story of Metta World Peace wiping his face with a towel drenched in Steve Nash‘s sweat.
Well, one more towel-related story for the Lakers to report.
After the conclusion of last nights 122-105 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Lakers headed back to the visiting locker room as they normally would. Also as is customary, fans lined up above the tunnel as the team made its exit. However, one of those fans (a Lakers fan, apparently) decided to take home a free souvenir, swiping Kobe Bryant‘s towel right off his back.
