Michael JordanMichael Jordan’s birthday celebrations have finally died down, but his name continues to find its way into the headlines.

Jordan has been sued by Pamela Smith, who claims the former Bull is the father of her 16-year-old son.  According to TMZ, Smith filed the paternity suit last month in Georgia.  Smith says she became pregnant in 1995 with Jordan’s alleged child, Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds, also known as Taj, while he was married to Juanita Vanoy.

Smith wants a paternity test from His Airness, and in the lawsuit she asks for full custody, child support, as well as legally changing her son’s last name to Jordan. In December 2012, Taj created a YouTube video claiming that the NBA legend is his biological father.

Jordan is set to marry Yvette Prieto in April and has refused to comment on the suit.
