It seems Danny Amendola will be a pretty popular guy on Tuesday when free agency officially starts.
The former Rams receiver is drawing interest from the Philadelphia Eagles, according to CSNPhilly.com. Amendola would join DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin in Philadelphia’s undersized receiver corps.
Amendola reportedly won’t be re-signed by St. Louis in free agency. The Texas Tech product has spent four seasons with the Rams after going undrafted in 2009. He has 196 receptions for 1,726 yards and seven touchdowns. He has only played 12 games in the last two seasons, with his only full season in the NFL in 2010.
Amendola can contribute inside in the slot or at outside receiver. He’s also returned kicks and punts during his NFL career.
