Osi UmenyioraIt appears that one veteran defensive end is off the market.

Osi Umenyiora is expected to sign with the Falcons on Sunday or Monday, according to Pro Football Talk. That leaves Elvis Dumervil, John Abraham and Dwight Freeney as the top pass rushers available.

Those three players will likely wind up with the Patriots, Ravens and Broncos. The Ravens lost Paul Kruger in free agency to the Browns, the Broncos lost Dumervil when his now-former agent failed to fax paperwork in on time and the Patriots struggled to get after the passer after losing Andre Carter and Mark Anderson after the 2011 season.

Umenyiora had six sacks last season for the Giants. He also racked up seven quarterback hits and 32 quarterback pressures, according to the website Pro Football Focus. The Troy product has spent his entire 10-year career with the Giants after being drafted with the No. 56 overall pick in 2003.

Umenyiora is a two-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. He has racked up 75 career sacks.
