Robin Jacobsson of Brynäs, which plays in the Swedish Elite League, unleashed hell when obliterated Skellefteå forward Pierre-Édouard Bellemare with an open-ice, blindside hit. The No. 1 ranked Skellefteå was battling the No. 8 seeded Brynäs in a quarterfinal playoff game.
Bellemare suffered a broken jaw and underwent surgery that very night.
