Tuukka Rask made 23 saves in the Bruins’ shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night.
That defensive performance anchored the team’s rallying effort in which they came back from a 2-0 deficit to win. The B’s were finally able to show some much-needed aggressiveness in the matchup, reminding fans of the character of the team, which has struggled to capitalize on offensive opportunities as of late.
Rask told Naoko Funayama it’s been a “long time coming, coming back from a two or three goal deficit.”
