It’s safe to say that Sean “X-Pac” Waltman‘s patented X-Pac Bronco Buster has lost its punch.
On Monday, Deadspin reported that wrestler Sean “X-Pac” Waltman (who also has been known as 1-2-3 Kid, 6-Pac and The Kid, among other wrestling aliases) had suffered arguably one of the most gruesome injuries in sports (and “sports?”) at an independent wrestling show over the weekend.
On Thursday, a video was found.
Waltman went for the Bronco Buster on his opponent, Horace the Psychopath, but instead hit an open metal turnbuckle, as Horace dove out of the way at the last second.
“The video doesn’t do justice to the severity of the situation,” he tweeted. “The turnbuckle wasn’t covered & my landing should have been 45 degrees.”
