UMass-Lowell became the first team outside of the foursome of Boston College, Boston University, Maine and Providence to come out on top of the regular season. Yes, the Riverhawks bested powerhouses like Jack Parker’s squad and Johnny Gaudreau‘s BC linemates to make history in Hockey East.

But what was the single most memorable moment overall?

Kevin Roy scored a hat trick in the opening game of the Beanpot, going on to win MVP honors in a losing effort. Jon Gillies came up with an incredible save against Boston College in a huge game. Jerry York broke the NCAA’s all-time record for wins as a head coach. And, finally, Jack Parker announced his retirement after 40 years behind the Terriers bench.

So, what’s the most memorable moments in a season full of them?
