One of the strengths that the Bruins always touted in years past was the depth of their goaltending. While Tim Thomas was off winning awards and accolades, Tuukka Rask was right behind him, quietly matching the starter’s sterling numbers.
This season, without Thomas in net, it was Rask who had most of the pressure heaped on his shoulders as fans looked to forge ahead. However, one could make the case that Anton Khudobin‘s play as a backup has been just as important in helping the Bruins move on from under Thomas’ shadow.
NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is prepared to do just that. Check it out in the above video.
