In the history of hockey there have been some tremendous brawls, but Thursday’s Austrian Youth Cup events were one of a kind. To quote Anchorman, “Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast.”
The U15 Cup championship game between Austria’s EC Red Bull Salzburg and EAC Junior Capitals meant to be a friendly battle, but instead the game got out of hand with a full-fledged, bench-clearing brawl. The Red Bulls won 4-0.
