There were tributes for Boston all over the sports world Monday night, but perhaps none were as moving as those held in Chicago prior to the Blackhawks-Stars game at the United Center.
Chicago has a history of memorable national anthems, and the city added to that legacy Monday night. A moment of silence was held for the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy before Jim Cornelison did what he does best — sing a powerful national anthem.
