The events of the last week have brought the city of Boston closer together than ever. One local couple saw Saturday’s Red Sox game as the perfect time to commit themselves to one another for life.

According to Buzzfeed Sports, Tammy Larson, from Minnesota, and Greg Lamoureux, of Worcester, Mass., officially tied the knot a few rows back from the first base line during the Sox’ game against the Kansas City Royals. It was the first game in Boston for the Red Sox since the Boston Marathon bombings on Monday and a manhunt that shut down the city and several suburbs Thursday night and Friday morning.

The bride sported a red leather jacket over a Red Sox t-shirt, and the groom wore a Navy blue Red Sox sweatshirt.

“It’s moving, it’s special, it’s all about moving forward,” Larson said after the ceremony.
