Wednesday night is likely one that fans in attendance will never forget, even if the Bruins did come out on the losing end.
The emotion was evident at TD Garden from start to finish, as the Sabres came away from the game with a shootout victory over the Bruins. After the game, both teams met at center ice to raise their sticks in a salute to the Boston crowd in a touching moment that certainly meant a lot to those who saw it.
