Jeff Green, Goran DragicFor the first time in NBA history, two teams will play fewer games than the rest of the league now that the Celtics and Pacers have canceled Tuesday’s game. That creates a unique situation for the box office, which cannot simply issue rain checks for a postponed game.

The Celtics on Tuesday outlined their refund policy for fans who hold tickets to the matchup. Ticketholders who purchased single-game tickets through Ticketmaster or its affiliates will be refunded in full within the next two business days, the team announced on its website.

Season ticketholders, premium clients, mini-plan holders, group ticket-buyers and suite renters will be contacted within the next 24 hours to outline their refund and credit process.

All additional questions can be directed to the Celtics at contactus@celtics.com.
