Jackie Bradley Jr. is getting some rest during the Red Sox’ home opener.

Daniel Nava will start in left field in Bradley’s place. It’s the fourth position Nava has played this season. He’s already started games at designated hitter and first base, and has also played two innings in right field. Nava is batting .400 with one home run, three RBIs and two walks.

Facing lefty Wei-Yin Chen, Jonny Gomes gets the start at DH in the seven hole. David Ross will get his third start of the season catching Clay Buchholz.
