Jarome IginlaWhile there may have been a trade-deadline mix-up about where Jarome Iginla was headed, there’s no question what city he’s leaving behind.

Iginla appears to be ready to part ways with Calgary for good, as he’s put his $3.995 million two-story home with a city view on sale.

The 35-year-old Iginla spent his entire 16-year career in Calgary until right before the trade deadline this year, when he was sent to the Penguins after reports first arose that he would be joining the Bruins. How many of those Calgary years Iginla spent in this 628 Britannia Drive home is unknown, but the Realtors website does provide plenty of other details.

Built in 2008, the 4,883.63-square-foot home has five bathrooms, five bedrooms, a wine room, a four-car garage and an excellent view of the city. “Custom-built,” it also has several fireplaces — perhaps in homage to the moniker of Calgary’s hockey team. Finally, the privately gated pad is near some nice parks and appears to be in an excellent neighborhood.

Descriptions only tell so much, though — it’ll take pictures to show just how nice a place Iginla is giving up as he takes his game to Pittsburgh. Check out photos from all throughout his house, with a stick tap to Puck Daddy.
