Kaspars Daugavins was no stranger to the Bruins and their fans when the forward was claimed off of waivers from the Senators.

Not only had Daugavins played against the Bruins with Ottawa, but he gained notoriety around the league for his gutsy shootout attempt against the B’s last month.

He was back at it again Monday morning at morning skate in advance of the team’s game with the Carolina Hurricanes. Daugavins proved that he can certainly be an option for Claude Julien in any shootout situations the rest of the year, as he put on an impressive display of stickhandling and shooting.

Daugavins even broke out a move very similar to the one that he tried to beat Tuukka Rask with just a few weeks ago. This time around, however, Daugavins had a little more luck, albeit against Anton Khudobin. That was enough to thoroughly impress his teammates.

See video of his shootout moves in the video below from the team’s website.
