Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia Wins 117th Boston Marathon, American Jason Hartmann Comes in Fourth

The 177th edition of the Boston Marathon went to Ethiopian Lelisa Desisa.

Desisa finished the 26.2-mile race with a time of 2 hours, 10 minutes and 23 seconds. American Jason Hartmann finished fourth for the second straight year.

As for the women, Rita Jeptoo took the crown in what is her second Boston Marathon victory. Shalane Flanagan of Marblehead, Mass., finished fourth in the women’s division.
