Two seasons ago, one Astros fan let his date get hit by a foul ball and his lack of chivalry didn’t go unnoticed as he received his 15 minutes of fame. Just a few days into the 2013 season, baseball has its newest “worst date,” from the great state of Arizona.
Cardinals infielder Pete Kozma launched a solo tater to deep left-center on Tuesday night and it caught a female fan right in the face. But she didn’t catch seams because she didn’t have a glove or she’s simply bad at catching — she was screened by her male companion who jumped out of the way at the last second, as seen below.
