Last season was a strange one for the Red Sox and Orioles. For once, it was Boston who ended the year in last place looking up at Baltimore, instead of the other way around.
This year, the Red Sox have gotten off to a hot start that is starting to suggest that last year was a fluke. The O’s, on the other hand, are doing everything they can to prove their 2012 campaign wasn’t. In the midst of all that fluky history, though, is baseball that’s left to be played.
