Red Sox to Wear Special Home Whites With ‘Boston’ on Front of Jersey Rather Than ‘Red Sox’ (Photo)

The Red Sox will look a little different on Saturday afternoon. No, not just because David Ortiz is returning to the lineup.

To honor the city of Boston, the Red Sox will be wearing special home uniforms. Rather than their typical home whites, which display “Red Sox” across the front, these jerseys will feature “Boston” in red lettering.

The jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit The One Fund Boston, according to the team’s Twitter account.
