Soccer teams win together, lose together and they apparently save the day together as well.

Players from Russian third division club Chernomorets Novorossiysk became heroes when they subdued a drunk passenger during an airplane flight on Thursday. The incident took place on a flight from Istanbul, Turkey, to Krasnodar, Russia and was recorded by a witness.

A man reportedly caused an in-flight stir by arguing and hitting his wife in front of other passengers. He was standing over and threatening her when one of the players intervened.

The unruly passenger was so drunk that he tipped over after the slightest push from one of the soccer players. When he sprang back to his feet, other members of the team were already on hand to bring him under control. His efforts to escalate the confrontation were denied by Chernomorets Novorossiysk, who pinned him down in his seat. The man at the center of it all was arrested after the flight.
