Chance WarmackOffensive linemen flew off the board like never before during the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night.

Three of the top four picks were used on big men, as were five of the top 10. Casual football fans usually do not appreciate the talents of these men in the trenches, which may lead many to view this draft as a boring one.

But don’t include Titans running back Chris Johnson in that camp. The former rushing champ topped 2,000 yards back in 2009 but has failed to match that production since. Johnson certainly deserves some of the blame for his inconsistency, but running behind a subpar offensive line has not helped.

So, when Tennessee used the 10th overall pick on Alabama guard Chance Warmack, who became famous as much for his exposed belly as his punishing blocks for the Crimson Tide, Johnson was overjoyed.
