Saturday Night Live is losing one of its better and more versatile cast members after this Saturday’s season finale, which will be the last for Bill Hader.
Hader has played all sorts of characters during his stint on the show, with some of the best being Vincent Price on his Halloween specials, Herb Welch assaulting news interview subjects with a microphone, Keith Morrison scaring the world on Nightline and Stefon channeling the absurd with night life suggestions.
But Hader also had a few solid sports sketches, the most well-known being his appearance as an alien life form on Game Time With Randy & Greg, when viewers seemed more interested in pointing out that the co-anchor had a tail and a dinosaur-like neck than actual sports analysis.
