The Bruins pulled off a minor miracle on Monday night, scoring twice in the final 1:22 of Game 7 to somehow force overtime against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Leafs appeared to be heading on to the next round after dominating play for much of the game, but three unanswered goals by the Bruins in the third period changed the complexion of the game.

Milan Lucic drove home a rebound with 1:22 to play and Patrice Bergeron followed up with the tying goal some 30 seconds later, knotting the game at 4-4 with just under a minute left to play. The Bruins nearly scored once more in the game’s closing seconds, but James Reimer and the Leafs held on to force a sudden-death overtime.

The Bruins went on to win 5-4 thanks to another Bergeron goal, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the two late goals. Check them out in the video below.
