Carlos Arredondo Serves as Bruins’ Banner Captain for Game 5 Against Maple Leafs (Photo)

In the wake of the tragedy at the Boston Marathon, the Bruins have shown a deft touch in delivering one goosebump-inducing moment after another. Before the team’s Game 5 contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs, they were at it once again.

Marathon hero Carlos Arredondo — famously photographed in a cowboy hat helping wheel Jeff Bauman to help — served as the team’s banner captain on Thursday. Arredondo was once again linked to Bauman, who had the same honor before Game 2.

Wearing his trademark cowboy hat, Arrendondo waved the team’s “Boston Strong” flag while a giant Bruins banner was passed around the lower bowl. Check it out in the photo below.
