You may not know it if you were born after 1958, but the Dodgers and Yankees used to have one of the biggest rivalries in Major League Baseball.
The rivalry still stands, even if the teams rarely play each other anymore, so it’s perplexing why CC Sabathia would think it’s a good idea to wear a Dodgers hat to Game 7 of the Bulls-Nets playoff series — even if it is a Brooklyn Dodgers hat. It’s odd in general for a baseball player to wear the hat of an opposing major league team.
The Yankees and Dodgers have faced off in the World Series 11 times, the most of any pair of teams from the American and National Leagues.
