Clay Buchholz Takes Mound Against Blue Jays in Second Start Since Cheating Allegations

Clay BuchholzClay Buchholz will be taking the mound against the Blue Jays for the first time since Toronto analysts Dick Hayhurst and Jack Morris accused the Red Sox starter of cheating.

Buchholz enters the game with a 1.60 ERA and 1.026 WHIP. He has yet to lose in 2013.

Buchholz struggled in his last start compared to the righty’s start to the season. He allowed four runs in six innings, but he still struck out nine batters.

Daniel Nava gets a rest for the Red Sox with Jonny Gomes taking his place against the lefty, Buehrle.
