It’s a tradition as old as baseball itself — the old dumping-the-beer-on-the-husband’s-head.
Oh, that’s not a thing? Well, someone better let Wrigley Field know.
A Cubs fan doused her husband with a cold one Sunday afternoon in what appeared to be a completely unprovoked act of malice. As the wife explained after the game, however, the suds-dumping was actually in retaliation for the husband accidentally spilling his beer on her earlier in the game.
When the cameras caught the move, though, it looked like something else. The husband had just tried to shield the wife from a home run in the Wrigley Field bleachers, and she appeared to be repaying his chivalry with a lowball move.
