The Red Sox had no answer for Jose Quintana on Tuesday as the White Sox hurler took a no-hitter into the seventh inning en route to Chicago’s second straight victory.
Boston did manage to break through with four hits and six total baserunners over the final three innings, but they managed just one run against Chicago’s relievers. The (Red) Sox’ best chance to draw even came in the seventh, when they loaded the bases with one only to fall victim to two consecutive strikeouts.
