The Bruins were expected to have some problems in their defensive zone against the New York Rangers after key injuries on the Boston blue line. That didn’t prove to be the case, but as Dennis Seidenberg and other D-men return to the lineup, the B’s still have their work cut out for them.

The Penguins have one of the most powerful offenses in the NHL, and despite the emergence of Torey Krug and the continually looming figure of Zdeno Chara on the back end, Boston will definitely have a tough time containing Sidney Crosby and friends.

NESN play-by-play man Jack Edwards phoned in to The Mark Madden Show on 105.9 The X in Pittsburgh on Friday to preview the team’s chances against the Penguins and talk about the tough challenge awaiting the Boston blueliners. Check out what he thinks of the matchup and listen until the end for a little bit of real-life drama proving the Edwards family is one of hockey players.
