Girlfriend Dumps Ryan Lochte Over Phone on E! Reality Show (Video)

Ryan Lochte has all the time in the world to date now, but it appears that even that hasn’t helped his long-term love life.

Lochte attracted attention for all kinds of things over the summer when he was dominating in the pool at the London Olympics, with one of the most head-turning remarks coming from his mother. His mom bemoaned her son’s love life, saying he spent so much time training that he didn’t have time for more than one-night stands with girls he wanted to date.

After a brief firestorm, Lochte’s mom clarified that she meant one-time dates, not one-time hookups.

Lochte, in fact, was dating a girl long-distance for the last four years, a fact that came to light during his recent reality show What Would Ryan Lochte Do? The show caught up with Jaimee Hollier, a 23-year-old junior sales manager from London, who was trying to maintain a relationship with Lochte despite busy schedules and their distance apart.

But just as soon as Hollier came into the public eye, she appears to be disappearing. Lochte and Hollier broke up over the phone on a recent episode of the show.

While it sounds cold on the surface, Lochte and Hollier had had trouble maintaining their long-distance relationship for some time, according to reports, and Lochte actually made sure the relationship ended off-camera, turning off his microphone and walking away when he took the call.
