The Vancouver Canucks are one game from being eliminated in the first round for the second consecutive year. Apparently, frustration is starting to set in.
Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin, who has a reputation of being a squeaky-clean player, may have crossed a line in Game 3 on Sunday night against San Jose. The Canucks forward appeared to catch Sharks forward Logan Couture with a butt-end following a faceoff during the Sharks’ 5-1 win.
Sedin was caught giving the shot, and Couture and the Sharks had the last laugh. Couture would score his second goal of the game, a power-play tally, just 21 seconds after Sedin went to the box.
