Talk about teamwork.
Members of the Valley High School baseball team sprang into action this week when a women accidentally ran over her daughter in a parking lot. A handful of players were nearby when the incident happened and immediately rushed to the scene, where they lifted the car and freed the girl pinned underneath, according to KCRA.com.
According to reports, the mother put the car in reverse, accidentally hitting her daughter.
“We all just ran out there as a team,” varsity coach James Millholland said. “No one was saying much, and then the guys got around the car and just lifted it up. There was very little talking.”
