When the Patriots drafted Southern Miss linebacker Jamie Collins, a quick Google search would reveal he’s a tremendous athlete. At nearly 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, Collins ran a 4.6-second 40-yard dash, jumped 41 1/2 inches in the vertical leap and set an NFL combine record with his 11-foot-7 broad jump.
But further Googling and Youtubing showed that Collins isn’t just a demon on the football field, but in basketball intramurals as well. In a video titled “Jamie Collins dunks on some guy,” the new Patriot does exactly that.
Collins takes an alley oop from a teammate and posterizes his opponent. I think we know who may win a Patriots slam dunk contest — if Bill Belichick were to ever allow one.
