John Lackey Victimized by Homer-Friendly Citizens Bank Park in Loss to Phillies (Video)

Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia is notorious for allowing heaps of home runs, and it lived up to its billing Wednesday night.

The Red Sox and Phillies combined for five homers in the contest, with three coming against Boston starter John Lackey. The trifecta of long balls represented the only runs scored against the right-hander, who took the loss after the Sox were unable to complete a comeback against Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon.

Check out what Lackey’s postgame comments in the video above or on NESN’s YouTube channel.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
