Jose Iglesias Benefitting From Time in Pawtucket, Could Be ‘Everyday Player’ in Majors (Video)

Jose Iglesias has been a man of many positions for the Red Sox this season, getting starts at both shortstop and third base in his 10 games with the team.

The versatile young player has been impressive in his time with the big-league squad, batting .438 with three doubles and two RBIs. Iglesias has been back and forth between Triple-A Pawtucket and Boston this season, and Red Sox general manager Ben Cherington joined the set of Red Sox GameDay LIVE and made a case for the rookie to see the majority of his action in the minors in 2013.

Check out the video above to hear Cherington’s thoughts.
