Keenan Allen Wears Raiders Hat in Vine, Draws Vitriol From Chargers Fans on Twitter

Hey pro athletes, it’s usually not a good idea to wear a hat of any other team in your league — especially if it’s a long-time division rival.

Chargers rookie wide receiver Keenan Allen made precisely that mistake this weekend when he posted a Vine of himself in a Raiders hat. San Diego fans did not react kindly to Allen’s oversight.

Allen apologized for the mistake and said it would not happen again. Let this be a lesson for Patriots rookies from the New Jersey area: No Jets or Giants hats.
