Philadelphia 76ers v Chicago Bulls - Game OneDerrick Rose has been sidelined now for more than a year after tearing his ACL on a horrific play in last year’s playoffs. Although he’s been medically cleared to play for about two months, he’s delayed his return to the court, saying he wasn’t comfortable dunking off of that left leg.

However, according to a report by HoopsWorld.com’s Alex Kennedy, Rose may be ready to suit up for Game 3 of the Bulls’ playoff series against the Miami Heat. After winning Game 1 93-86 over a rusty Miami squad, Chicago is just trying to get healthy with Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng out with injuries, and Nate Robinson having received ten stitches in his lip after Game 1.

That’s where Rose comes in. Game 2 is Wednesday, then the series shifts back to Chicago for Game 3. If the Bulls still need the extra depth, Rose could suit up to be available off the bench, according to the report.

Suiting up does not guarantee Rose will get in the game. However, the Bulls seem to believe Rose is at least capable of playing limited minutes off the bench.
